Obama needs to quit helping out Businesses
I know this is a touchy subject. I am sure you are tired of hearing only bad news on TV, Radio and reading about it in the Newspaper or on the Internet. But I still feel we all need to make our voice heard. If we all would e-mail Obama and told our Senators, Congressman, Governors and other Politicians could we make a difference? I don’t know if it would work but I feel we need to try and keep trying. We can’t give up. We are talking about our Future Retirements and our Kids Future. So hear are somethings to think about;
Why Keep Bailing out Banks
I was talking to a Financial planner the other day and he brought up some great points also. For instance let’s say all the Financial Companies failed in the top 500 companies, it would only effect the Stock Market about 400 points. The market would not crash they say, I am no expert, but I know the past will tell us that if a Business fails another will open up. For instance if all the Banks went broke, someone else will open up a new bank and without Government assistance. So why keep giving Billions of our money to the Banks. No one sends us money when we go into more debt because we spent more than we mad.
Why Bail out the Auto Makers
Whoopie… Auto Makers go out of business. Do you think if they all closed up their wouldn’t be any cars to drive? Do you think everyone would be out of work? No, that wouldn’t happen. We would still have cars to drive and people would still have jobs some where. Somebody else would start making cars in the United States at a lower price and more efficient.
Why Bailout any Business
The history of Business is the business that takes care of there customers, offers new items, has great values and service and controls there expenses normally make it. But yet if you look at the top 500 companies that were in business back in like 1957, only about 90 of them are still in business. So what does that tell you? It says that the successful business will stay in business, they others will close and people will start up new businesses. So why should the government bailout any company that isn’t successful, any company that can’t pay there bills. I say let them close, someone else will open up a new business. Odds are they will open up a new business to replace the closed one and without billions of aid from the government.
Why not Bailout us Tax Payers
So many families have debt problems. Debt problems that can cause relationship issues and sometimes lead to divorce. Some families don’t have the money to send their kids to college, then the kids that do go to college ends up graduating with a ton of Debt. So now they are out of college with college Debt and now they need to borrow money for a car, work clothes and try to buy a home. They could be paying off that debt the rest of there lives. Why can’t the government bailout the Tax payers debt problems instead of giving Billions of dollars to businesses that keep losing more money each quarter. If my business loses money the government won’t give me any bailout money, I will just have to close up.
Why not Bail out People who have a Income but isn’t able to buy a house
I know so many people that have had a foreclosure in the last two years or did a deed in lieu of foreclosure and now they can’t get a home for the next 3 to 7 years. So here are taxpayers that have a good job, some have a credit score of over 700 and they still can’t get a home loan. In the State I live in there are so many homes sitting empty. It is so sad, why not fill up those homes with families again. Families that will be buying stuff for the house to maintain it and fix it up. It is a win - win for the economy. Can’t the government bail out people who had a foreclosure but can afford a home now instead of people running a ineffective business.

What are your views? I am no expert in economics but I do hear all the time from people that agree with me. I have a day job at a large corporation and I know if we would go broke the government wouldn’t bail us out. I say tell Obama to trash the Stimulus Plan and start over before we go broke helping the banks and automakers.
