Financial Eduation is very important to Financial Freedom
How is your Financial Education. I feel it is important to have a good Financial Education to help you reach Financial Freedom. Schools I feel schools need to focus more on Financial Education to help students be more Financially responsible once out of school. The economy down turn may not have effected some families as bad if they had received more of a Financial education when in school. But it is never too late to increase your Financial education no matter what your age is.
The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then look the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads onto way, I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence; Two roads diverged in a wood, and I– I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
Robert Frost (1916)
What Road to take?
I hope you decide to take the road less traveled. The road to finding Financial Freedom. There are many classes you could take, books you could read. You could find a financial advisor to talk with. One of the first things to work on learning is budgeting and expense control. Learn to live debt free. You may be thinking I am crazy and that you may think there is no way you will ever be debt free.
Anything is possible. I have done it, when I was married we were living beyonds are means. We had college expenses and got caught up with keeping up with the neighbors life style. Then we got divorced and I was left with over $26,000 in debt and was paying child support each month. I got apartment and was still falling behind. I thought there was no hope until I meet Bill. He taught me about Financial Freedom.
He had written two books of his own on expense reduction and becoming debt free. Bill started his own company after finding Financial Freedom himself. He has five kids and had almost lost his home and had a ton of debt. With in less than 10 years he became Debt Free and on a road to Financial Freedom.
With his help, with in 14 months I was totally debt free, I had an extra $500 a month after my monthly expenses, saved money for a down payment on a house and then bought a house. I have helped so many people over the years, people who were married, divorced or single, people who where 18 to age 66. I have scene people afraid to answer the phone, to check the mail, to answer the front door because they were afraid of bills or bill collectors. People who were about to file bankruptcy and about to lose there homes and some there businesses. It was so rewarding helping them see the road less traveled.
Now my my passion is to help others acheive Financial Freedom. To take the road less traveled. Anything is possible, but you need to take a step towards it. It can be uncomfortable at first, but after time you may think why didn’t I do this before.Let me know your thoughts and ideas. Have a great day.
