Dave Ramsey talks about Barack Obama Credit Card Law
We all know there is a lot of Credit Card debt in the United States. We all see the Ad’s for Credit Card Companies each week. Most places I shop they ask me if I want to open up a Credit Card and save 10% off my order that day. Dave Ramsey was on TV today talking about the Economy and about Obama’s plan.
Credit Card Tricks
i know people who has missed a payment due to job loss or medical issues and their Interest Rate jumped way up. I know people who had other Credit Issues and the Credit Card companies reduced their line of Credit and raised their Interest Rate. Obama wants more protection for us all. They say the average American has over $10,000 in Credit Card debt. How much is yours?
Credit Card Rules
As you know it is a ton of fine print and hard for the average person to read. Basically if you try to read them all it will probably make you fall a sleep. Obama wants to make them easier to read for us all. He wants the Credit Card companies to do it.
Credit Card Protection
Obama also wants to protect us from not only Interest Rate increases but also the Credit Card companies charging us so many Late Fees. Also he wants to protect kids from getting a Credit Card. I once was told that Credit Card companies market towards 18 year old because you are more likely to use and hold on to your first Credit Card. The House and Senate is working on laws to help protect us.
Dave Ramsey Town Hall Meetings
Some people call Dave a Financial Guru is putting on a Nationwide Town Hall Meeting called “Town hall for Help”. They said he will be also answering questions by Text and e-mail. He is going to talk about the current economy problems we are facing like foreclosures, debt problems, the recession and more. It is Today April 23rd at 8pm tonight.
