Bright Automotive instead of more Bailout Money to the Automakers

By Bruce · Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

President Obama should think about not bailing out the Automakers that can’t make money and help new Electric Car Automakers like Bright Automotive, or why not see how all the other smaller Automakers will do. Haven’t we given them enough money. This morning the President announcedthat his Auto Task Force has completed its evaluation of the viability of General Motors and Chrysler in light of their requests for federal assistance. In addition to releasing the viability assessments, he also released a new policy with the American government guaranteeing warranties for cars from those companies to ensure that if you have one it “will be safer than it’s ever been” Source from the White House website. :

News on Bright Automotive

3/10/2009 - Indiana-based start-up plans to unveil gas-electric plug-in hybrid capable of reaching 400 miles on a tank of gas at Norway auto show in May. The one-year-old company has created buzz because of its origins in the consulting organization Rocky Mountain Institute and the track record of CEO John Waters, who invented the battery pack system for General Motors’ EV1 electric vehicle, which was discontinued after three years in 1999. Why not let them Close

Everyone has their own opinion on this subject. But like I have said before, if they close another company will step up and will make more cars in the United States. Also maybe more companies like Bright Automotive will start making more Electric Cars. I know I would love to find a way to save on all the money I spend each month for Gas. Let me know your thoughts and ideas. Also please join my facebook and Linkedin using my e-mail of mills.management@hotmail.com. Have a great day.
